Boy Abunda’s return to television was a success following the good rating results of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda‘s (FTWBA) pilot week.
The newest Kapuso afternoon showbiz talk show was warmly welcomed by the viewers, according to the latest rating report by the Nielsen NUTAM People Survey.
On its premiere episode on Monday, January 23, FTWBA registered a rating of 7.5 percent, taking the number 7 position in the overall rating chart.
The show made a significant drop of 1 percent to 6.5 percent on Tuesday, January 24, moving down one spot to the number 8 position in the leaderboard.
However, it managed to reverse course on Wednesday, January 25, moving up by 0.8 percent to a 7.3 percent rating and climbing back to the 7th spot in the rating chart.
Although it moved down by 0.4 percent again on Thursday, January 26, to 6.9 percent, FTWBA managed to maintain its rating board position of number 7.
Meanwhile, aside from ratings, FTWBA was also the talk of the town, as soundbites from his interviews made the headlines of several news articles, like his interview with Bea Alonzo on January 26 and Paolo Contis on January 27.
