On February 8, Kapuso stars David Licauco and Shaira Diaz highlighted what made their on-screen pairing work.
At the media conference for ‘Without You,’ Licauco noted that their experience working together attributed to their growth as an on-screen pair. Licauco shared, “Si Shaira kasi ‘yung pinaka first on-screen partner ko, that was way back in 2017…sa tagal ng six or five years na nagkakatrabaho kami, I think ‘yung chemistry na build doon. Si Shaira, she’s such a good actress. So, siyempre kapag nakikipagtrabaho ka sa magaling na actress eh dadali rin ‘yung trabaho mo, so nandodoon ‘yung chemistry.”
Diaz agreed with Licauco, citing that they felt comfortable with each other because of their experience working on previous projects.
Diaz remarked, “So siguro since then, naging komportable na kami sa isa’t isa, parang hindi hindi kami nagkakasama sa isang series, parang ‘yun nga, ‘yung nabanggit niyang mga guesting-guesting namin, it’s parang mas nakilala namin ‘yung isa’t isa.”
She also noted that Licauco is a good person, which makes working with the Kapuso star easier.
The actress said David Licauco is easy to work with; they have a good rapport. She also thanked GMA Network for the opportunity to work together when they started in showbiz.
The romantic-drama film, ‘Without You’ stars Licauco and Diaz with the supporting cast Mark Rivera, Casie Banks, Rhiana Pangindian, Dindin Pajares, and Luis Hontiveros.
The OctoArts Valentine film directed by RC Delos Reyes opens in cinemas nationwide starting February 15, 2023.
