Showbiz columnist praised Coco Martin’s attitude toward helping other people and even compared the actor to Wowowin host Willie Revillame.
In an episode of Fermin’s YouTube show Showbiz Now Na on February 16, she talked about Martin’s new Kapamilya series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
FPJ’s Batang Quiapo was well-received by the people as it scored 13.2% in NUTAM People Survey on February 16. It is a percent higher than GMA Network’s Maria Clara at Ibarra, which registered a rating of 12.2 percent.
Fermin also shared Martin’s humble attitude toward helping others.
His fellow actor Pen Media shared how Martin helped him with his medical expenses.
Kaya nang lumabas ako as early as August, nagpasalamat ako sa kanya.
This impressed Fermin as she felt Martin’s sincerity in helping. She then talked about how Martin is being compared to Wowoin host Willie Revillame who recently had an issue about asking for help from people.
Recently, Willie Revillame asked for help from people to show respect after rumors spread that his show Wowowin and other AllTV programs will temporarily stop airing.
He then mentioned the person he helped who received a car and a condo unit.
