At the media conference for the Vivamax film ‘La Querida’ on January 27, Viva artist Angela Morena voiced her opinion regarding “Queridas” and “Queridos” who are more aggressive than legal spouses.
Morena believes that everyone has something they want to fight for when it comes to relationships. The artist said, “Ang masasabi ko lang, lahat tayo may pinaglalaban, so I respect you guys.”
She then discussed how her role helped her understand the origins of the word “Querida” or “Querido” and how it is applied in Spanish. Morena explained, “Well, kung doon tayo sa Tagalog term, kapag sinabi kasi sa akin na Querido or Querida, mali. Pero when I found out the meaning of Querido or Querida, sa Spanish sense, mahal mo. So ‘yun po, mali in the Tagalog sense, pero kapag sa Spanish sense, hindi.”
Her character in the film also helped her realize the significance of honesty in relationships. She declared, “Ang pinaka take-away ko sa movie is huwag-huwag ka magsisinungaling sa partner mo or sa lover mo, always be honest, kasi kapag hindi ka naging honest sa kanya, at kapag hindi mo sinabi ‘yung totoo, pwedeng mag-break kayo, mag-away kayo, or worse, hindi na kayo magkita, lalong lalo na kung mahal mo ‘yung tao.”
Morena co-stars in the Vivamax original film ‘La Querida,’ alongside Arron Villaflor, Mercedes Cabral, and Jay Manalo.
Vivamax’s Valentine’s Day lineup also includes Josef Elizalde, Alona Navarro, Andrew Muhlach, and Jiad Arroyo.
On February 10, Vivamax will release the intertwining love story directed by GB Sampedro.
