Andrea Brillantes shed light on that there have been no official talks yet regarding her as the next Dyesebel.
On February 18, during an interview, Brillantes was asked if the rumors were true that she’ll be assuming the lead role in the remake of Dyesebel.
“Actually, nagulat lang din po ako, nakita ko lang po siya sa media. Pero thankful po ako sa response na nakuha ko from the citizens, yung mga casual viewers, na madami namang positive na mga sinasabing bagay ako.
“Meron namang mga hindi, pero yun nga, thankful po ako sa mga positive reviews na nakuha ko. Thank you po, dahil dream role ko din po yun ever since.
“Isa yun sa mga rason kung bakit ko ginustong maging artista. Isa rin yun sa mga first audition ko yata. I think yun yung second na naging audition ko.”
Brillantes clarified there are no official talks yet between her camp and ABS-CBN management regarding the Dyesebel project.
“Wala pa po.”
She was asked if she would take the role if it will be offered to her.
“Oo naman. Pangarap ko yun e, mahilig talaga ako sa dagat ever since,” she promptly replied.
Brillantes is known for her roles in projects such as Alyna (2010), E-Boy (2012), Annaliza (2013), Kadenang Ginto (2018), and many more.
