Armed with the desire to shield Nueva Esperanza from further devastation and avenge Regina/Valentina’s (Janella Salvador) death, Darna (Jane De Leon) is primed more than ever to face the biggest battles approaching in “Mars Ravelo’s Darna,” now on its last two weeks of airing.
Heneral Borgo’s (Richard Quan) grand scheme to kill Darna is now in place after his Super Soldiers killed Regina and his army got bigger and stronger with the transformation of Ali (Mark Manicad) as an Extra with laser and heat vision superpowers.
Amid the mayhem in Nueva Esperanza, Darna continues to protect the community and prep them to fight and help save one another. But can she still continue to save the people in the forthcoming war that Borgo and his army will instigate?
Meanwhile, thousands of fans gathered last weekend during the back-to-back #DarnaCaravan in Vista Mall Bataan and Robinsons Galleria South in Laguna as the program’s cast led by Jane performed special numbers and thanked viewers for their overwhelming support.
The “Darna” cast is also set to meet, greet, and thank their fans at KCC Mall in General Santos City on Friday (February 3) and Ayala Malls Trinoma in Metro Manila on Sunday (February 5) in continuation of the caravan.
Since its airing last August, “Darna” has remained to be one of the top-rating series on television and digital. It has also topped the most watched shows on iWantTFC, has consistently driven over 100,000 concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live daily, and has generated millions of combined views on YouTube per episode.
“Darna” has also become the most searched primetime Philippine TV series on Google. The series also spawned various Darna-related content on TikTok with the #Darna with 2.3 billion combined views in 2022.
