Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay, better known as Team ‘Jolly,’ amused viewers once again with their entertaining “kilig” scenes. Unlike other love teams, Sparkle’s young sweethearts chose to be partners.
“Hindi kami ‘yung type ng love team na network yung nag decide. Kami po ‘yung bumuo, kami yung nagsipag,” Pablo said emotionally.
She added, “Nag-Tiktok kami, kasi gusto talaga naming maging loveteam kasi nae-enjoy namin yung company namin sa isa’t isa, and alam namin na nandun kami sa edad na masaya magkaroon ng ka-loveteam, kasi ito yung edad na maraming kinikilig.”
Viewers were captivated by the young couple’s natural bond even in their previous projects.
As they worked under lock-in taping for their ‘Luv Is’ series, they built a stronger relationship and discovered new things about one another.
Ansay stated that working with the actress taught him how convenient it is to collaborate with someone you know so well.
There is something about the duo that makes everything seem real. “Mas napapadali ko ‘yung trabaho’ pag andyan talaga si Sofia kasi kilala ko na siya…alam niya kung paano palakasin ‘yung loob ko,” the actor said.
Meanwhile, the actress was surprised that their first primetime television series made the actor speak English fluently. She was surprised that he could converse well in English because in the past he was so shy about it. The actor explained that he tried so hard to give justice to his portrayal of Nero Ferell, who was the total opposite of him in real life.
Pablo’s portrayal of Florence Almero, who is skilled in the kitchen challenged her to prepare by doing some research online about recipes; so she could act naturally.
GMA Network and Wattpad Webtoon Studios collaborated on ‘Luv Is: Caught In His Arms’. Florence Almero (Sofia Pablo) works as a cook in the Ferells’ rich household, where she will meet Nero Ferell (Allen Ansay).
