Due to the alleged poor ticket sales of Gonzaga’s upcoming anniversary concert, the concert producer issued a statement.
With a few more days before Toni Gonzaga’s upcoming anniversary concert, the producer, Joed Serrano, happily announced that tickets are now almost sold-out. The said concert marks Gonzaga’s 20 years as a performer and has been notably plagued by alleged poor ticket sales.
Serrano released an official statement to clear the confusion.
“As of January 13 friday at 4:45pm, The I Am Toni concert at the Smart Araneta coliseum on Jan 20, 2023 has already sold 55% of the tickets. 20% goes to the sponsors who pledged their support for their endorser Toni Gonzaga, “ said Serrano, who also clarified the issue about Mommy Pinty buying load of tickets are for close friends who directly ordered from Gonzaga’s mother.
Serrano admitted that he also ordered tickets for those who can’t purchase online.
“Mommy Pinti ordered & paid 350 tickets for her mga friends, relatives at mga ka church mate na sa kanya umorder. Me as one of the producers also reserved some 300 tickets for my friends who ordered from me instead of going to ticketnet. These tickets are paid. Wala ng libre sa panahon ngayon except pag kapamilya mo ang manonood. Iba ang concert sa pulitika at pelikula,” Serrano added.
As of this writing, the concert producer also shared the good news that only 15% of the tickets are [still] unsold.
“As of this date, we still have 15% tickets unsold. You can still buy your tickets & get a chance to watch this very controversial concert. Its a celebration of 20 years in showbusiness & the birthday of our dearest Toni Gonzaga. Let us all unite & be positive in life.”
Serrano also appealed to supporters to be kind, and he then encouraged fans to unite and have a positive outlook in life.
“Move on & be kind to all. Let us all give ourselves a chance to be good in this world. Smile, wag nega sa buhay. Kung wala kang sasabihing di maganda sa kapwa mo , then might as well be quiet kesa magkasala ka pa at ma-stress.“
The I Am Toni anniversary concert will occur on January 20, 8PM, Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Gonzaga, known for various chart topping hits, including Catch Me I’m Falling and We Belong are expected to be part of her repertoire and perform other familiar tracks that her fans are looking forward to hearing at the show.
