Kapuso afternoon drama series Nakarehas Na Puso and primetime drama series Mano Po Legacy: Flower Sisters are set to conclude on Friday, January 13.
After four months on the air, the hit Kapuso afternoon drama is set for its finale on January 13 and will end on a high note following its good ratings performance.
Based on the most recent rating report from Nielsen NUTAM People Survey for December 21, Nakarehas Na Puso remained in the number 7 spot on the rating board with a rating of 8.7 percent. NNP registered its all-time high rating on October 28, 2022, at 9.4 percent. It debuted with a 7.4 percent rating.
Like NNP, GMA Network’s primetime drama Mano Po Legacy: Flower Sister will [also] end on the same date after its three-month run. The series also consistently wins its timeslot in the rating game.
According to the latest rating report for Wednesday, December 21, MPL: Flower Sisters registered a rating of 5.5 percent, ranking 10th on the rating leaderboard.
Meanwhile, if two Kapuso drama programs will end this month, another GMA Network drama series seems to be getting an extended run.
GMA Network’s number one afternoon drama, Abot Kamay Na Pangarap, may not end soon after new characters were introduced, and included the Legazpi twins Cassy and Mavy Legazpi and Kyline Alcantara.
Mavy, and Cassy will join their mother, Carmina Villaroel, who plays the lead character, Lyneth Santos.
The series’ extension [is] expected due to its good rating performance and online presence.
While the series started slowly, registering only a 6.9 percent rating on its pilot episode, its successive trending videos on Facebook and Tiktok helped attract more viewers and become the current leading afternoon drama in the country.
AKNP registered its all-time high rating on October 28, 2022, at 11.7 percent.
Meanwhile, according to the most recent rating report from NUTAM People’s survey, AKNP scored a rating of 10 percent, placing it 4th in the overall rating leaderboard.
