GMA Network’s newest primetime drama series, Luv Is Caught in His Arms scored a nice win on air and online.
It premiered on Monday, January 16, and the Kapuso rom-com series performed well on Philippine primetime television, according to the Nielsen NUTAM People Survey.
In a tweet by GMA Drama on Tuesday, January 17, it shared the series’ pilot rating of 8.8 percent, beating rival program The Iron Heart, which registered a rating of 5.0 percent or a margin of 3.8 percent.

Luv Is Caught In His Arms replaced Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters which ended on January 13 with a finale rating of 9.2 percent.
Meanwhile, aside from its win in TV ratings, the new Kapuso primetime drama was also warmly received online.

The series’ lead star Sofia Pablo also took to Twitter to thank all Kapuso viewers for warmly supporting their pilot episode.

Meanwhile, netizens @mazilahreign269 and @veeravca also tweeted their reactions to the Kapuso series’ pilot episode.
