On January 6, Viva actress Kim Molina explained how she handles feelings of not being enough for someone.
At the media conference for ‘Girlfriend Na Pwede Na’, which LionhearTV covered, Molina noted that she focuses on her goal. This helps her address the feeling of not being enough.
The actress expressed, “I don’t think naman po na pagdating doon hindi ako enough. Hindi eh, kasi I think when I want something, kunyari [may] goal po ako– if I have a goal in my life, I [would] do what it takes to improve myself for me to be enough…for example, I would audition for a role, magwo-workshop ako, aaralin ko ‘yung script– I would really do my best for that particular project.”
She then noted that she would not push through with someone who thinks less of her. The singer/actress explained that if she is not enough for that person, she would not push through with the relationship.
Molina remarked, “...kasi po parang kung sa tingin niya kulang pa, ay next. Parang, hindi po kami magkakatagpo kung lagi kong pipilitin ‘yung sarili ko eh. Eh, ayaw ko pong mamilit ng tao.”
She also detailed how she connected to her character in the upcoming romantic comedy.
The actress shared, “Si Pam kasi, ‘yung character ko and si Jigs [Gab], they’ve been together for eight years, parang may kulang pa eh gusto kasi nilang magpakasal di ba? We’ve [Kim and Jerald] been together for eight years.”
She added, “We’re together for eight years, actually noong ma-ipitch nga ni Direk Bene sa amin, sabi niya, ‘Okay lang ba na ganito ‘yung gagawin natin.’ Sabi ko, ‘Yeah, it’s fine.’ Kasi ako as Kim Molina, I’m very confident with our relationship…with Pam kasi she’s not confident, so that’s the difference. Kasi kami ni Jerald, pwedeng ma–, na hindi pa nagse-settle down, but that was because Pam was ready, kasi ako I’m not yet ready.”
Kim Molina stars in the Vivamax romantic comedy ‘Girlfriend Na Pwede Na’ with Jerald Napoles and Gab Lagman. The rom-com film also features Tomas Rodriguez, Heart Ryan, Nicole Omillo, Andrea Barbierra, Prince Estefan, and Gene Padilla.
Directed by Benedict Mique, ‘Girlfriend Na Pwede Na’ premieres on January 18 in cinemas.
