After two years, comedian-actor Janno Gibbs admits he misses hosting television shows amidst the movie projects he has had in recent years.
“Nami-miss ko ‘yong hosting. I hosted SOP for the longest time hanggang naging ‘Sunday All Stars’ na siya,” Gibbs told the media on January 12.
An optimistic Gibbs said, “There’s still time, I think so. (Yllana) are still young… kaya pa naman naming mag-host.”
Aside from the variety show, the performer also hosted two game shows on GMA: ‘Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5’ and ‘Power of 10’.
In addition, the actor has been part of the ‘Dabarkads’ for several years. However, he transferred to ABS-CBN and in 2020, he once again had a noon-time show.
Together with Anjo Yllana and KitKat, they hosted ‘Happy Time’ on Net25.
Concerning the rivalry rumor, Janno Gibbs remarked that they just wanted to present viewers with an option for his previous noontime broadcasts.
Janno Gibbs also revealed that Viva Artists Agency gave him the green light to participate in this show when he was contacted by Eagle Broadcasting.
He stated that, in addition to his previous show, he was delighted to reunite with Anjo. They have collaborated on numerous projects in the past, including ‘Eat Bulaga’. Today, the two are back with Xian Lim’s movie ‘Hello, Universe’.
