Kapuso sitcom Happy ToGetHer returned on TV for its third season with a lukewarm reception.
The latest season still starring John Lloyd Cruz premiered on Sunday, January 8. But compared to its first season’s pilot episode, the new season started with underwhelming TV ratings.
According to Nielsen NUTAM People’s rating report, Happy ToGetHer registered a rating of 9.5 percent, taking the number two spot on the Sunday overall rating leaderboard.
The third season’s pilot rating was, however, 2.5 percent down from its season 1 pilot on December 26, 2021, of 12 percent.
It was also down by 3.6 percent from its season 2 finale of 13.1 percent on October 30.
Previously, the sitcom held the distinction of being the only program to defeat Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho on the rating board.
Happy ToGetHer beats KMJS on May 22, 2022, with a rating of 15.6% vs. 15.3% to capture the top spot on the overall Sunday rating chart.
The Kapuso sitcom, meanwhile, scored its all-time high rating of 15.8% on September 25, 2022.
