Father-and-son Isko Moreno and Joaquin Domagoso will clash on the theater screens as they are both set to star in separate films about the late former senator Ninoy Aquino.
Director Vince Tañada released the official trailer for his film Ako si Ninoy (AsN) on January 22, which stars singer Juan Karlos Labajo.
Domagoso, son of former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, is also a part of AsN. On the other hand, Moreno is part of Darryl Yap’s upcoming film Martyr or Murderer (MoM). The film is a sequel to Yap’s much-criticized film Maid in Malacañang.
Yap himself confirmed Moreno’s casting through his Facebook post in November 2022.

MoM will accordingly portray the “rivalry” between former President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr., and former senator Ninoy Aquino.
While AsN will shed light on the the former senator’s life during Ferdinand Marcos Sr.’s martial law.
