‘LUV IS: Caught in His Arms’ is the much-anticipated first collaboration project between GMA Network and Wattpad Webtoon Studios.
This adaptation of the hit Wattpad novel with the same title by Filipino author Ventrecanard was supposed to be aired last October 2022.
The series is top-billed by Sparkle artists Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay who admitted they were nervous about the delay.
Pablo shared, “Actually, natapos po namin siya i-take last July…meron naman pong moments na no’ng lumipas na ‘yong October tapos hindi pa rin kami mag-e-air. So, meron na rin po kami naisip na ‘Bakit kaya? Okay kaya ‘yung kinalabasan?”
The airing of Team Jolly’s first kilig series was postponed to give way to GMA’s successful shows that extended. She explained, “Hindi naman po natin maiiwasan na nagkakaroon tayo ng delay sa airing kasi may shows po tayo na talagang successful ang ratings.”
Ansay said the setback can be viewed as a positive for the show’s improvement. He stated, “Actually, ‘yung pag-move po ng show namin mas naging maganda pa nga po kasi mas naging maganda ‘yung mga edit.”
Pablo added “Willing to wait naman kami ni Allen since alam namin na hindi naman kami nagmamadali. Basta alam namin na mapapanood ng tao, kikiligin sila. Ito na, eere na tayo, finally!”
‘LUV IS: Caught in His Arms’ premiered last January 16 after ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’.
