Kapamilya star Carlo Aquino admitted that he is currently dating actress Charlie Dizon.
Dating rumors between Aquino and Dizon have been circulating for a while now.
But the celebrity only confirmed the rumors on January 6 during the media conference for Star Magic’s partnership with Mavx Productions.
Aquino explained that his relationship with Dizon started developing after they returned to the Philippines after Star Magic’s US tour which took place in August last year.
“Nagkasama kami sa ‘A Soldier’s Heart.’ Nagkakilala kami do’n. Tapos nag-US tour, mas nakilala ko siya. Pag-uwi, ayun (tuloy-tuloy na),” he said.
Also, he confirmed he welcomed the year 2023 with Dizon and his family in La Union.
Aquino shared, “Yung brother ko ‘di nakauwi from Sydney at saka ‘yung wife niya ng 2 years dahil nga sa pandemic. So pag-uwi nila, ‘yung mga relatives ng sister-in-law ko pumunta.”
But the actor said that he and Dizon are still in the getting-to-know-you stage.
Charlie Dizon and Carlo Aquino are first-time co-stars in the upcoming romance film from Black Sheep titled “Love on a Budget.”
Aquino is also busy promoting the upcoming release of his movie with Barbie Imperial titled “I Love Lizzy.”
The actor has been in a relationship with Trina Candaza for three years. They have a daughter Mithi who was born in September 2020. They confirmed their breakup in April 2022.
Meanwhile, Trina Candaza posted on Facebook last January 6 claiming that her ex-boyfriend had a “single, ready to mingle” post even though they were still together.
“Pabango muna tayo para bumango naman ihip ng hangin, kaliwaan pag iiwan ng pamilya eh,” she said in the caption.
