During his media conference on January 14, award-winning TV talk show host Boy Abunda shared the status of his relationship with his long-term partner, Bong Quintana.
The King of Talk still is in love with Bong after more than three decades. However, he clutched when he said–he is not “absolutely” loyal toward him.
He confessed to the press, “Pero deretsahan na tayo, am I absolute loyal? No.”
“Ako, sasabihin ko ‘yan. But sinisiguro ko lagi na nakakauwi ako,” he continued.
After the challenges they have gone through together, he promised to try to be loyal as he could to him.
If given a chance, the comebacking Kapuso host wants to see himself marrying Bong “I would go for it only because I want to be able to protect myself and Bong.
“Can you imagine ang state natin ngayon, halimbawa kapag, I mean, knock on wood, may pumanaw sa amin, ang isa sa amin, walang karapatang pulutin ang katawan dahil wala kaming legal rights.”
Abunda wants same-sex marriage to get legalized in the country.
He uttered “Sana, dumating ang panahon na magkaroon ng same sex marriage. Takot na takot dito ‘yung ating mga legislators.
“Ako, I want to be practical. Ayaw n’yong tawagin naming marriage, union, ibigay n’yo sa amin ang karapatan.”
