Multi-awarded actress Dina Bonnevie celebrated her 61st birthday with a shade.
On Friday, January 27, Bonnevie celebrated her birthday with her close friends and family.
In a video shared by the actress’s Facebok page on Instagram on January 28, Ms. D elicited laughter from her guests when she said to the waiter holding one of her cake, “Hindi kita papahiran ng cake. Magpapasalamat ako sa ‘yo,”
“Cakes are to be eaten, and not to be pasted on other people’s faces.”
Though non-mention of names, netizens insinuated that she took a swipe at Alex Gonzaga, who recently got slammed by netizens after smearing a waiter with icing at her 35th birthday bash.
Bonnevie and Gonzaga have a history together, having starred in a TV5 drama series back then.
Previously, Ms. D talked about an unnamed co-star whom she called unprofessional for coming to their set late and unprepared. In one of her interviews, Bonnevie revealed that she gave “hell” to that co-star for her poor work ethic.
Gonzaga, on the other hand, shared via her podcast an experience with an “old actress” who allegedly traumatized her.
“So there was a time, when I was in early 20s, mag-21 ako, I was so traumatized, pinagsisigawan ako ng isang artistang matanda… pinagsisigawan niya talaga ako from head to foot, everything, kasi akala niya galing ako sa bahay late lang ako, hindi niya alam na galing ako sa work kasi siguro hindi sinabi sa kaniya.”
