At the media conference for Nightbird, covered by LionhearTV on January 3, Arron Villaflor considered his 2022 and his new career a roller coaster ride after signing with Viva.
Villaflor talked about his pandemic and his transfer to Viva Entertainment.
“Parang roller coaster sa ating lahat itong 2022. Actually, noong nagsimula ‘yung pandemic, naging roller coaster na para sa lahat. But then, just never gave up, and gawin mo ‘yung sa mga tingin mo makakatulong para sa ‘yo.”
He then thanked Viva Entertainment and praised his co-stars in Nightbird.
“And somehow– of course, I really love my craft, so thanks to Viva. Salamat sa lahat ng mga projects. And I’m happy working with Felix again, with Kuya Sid. Kay Christine, thank you. And kay Mark [Anthony], first time din namin–si Kuya Mark. So na-meet ko ‘yung anak ng iniidolo ko, which is ‘yung Tatay niya.”
He then discussed his new year’s resolution for 2023, such as being productive and focusing on his priorities.
“More productive, and ayon dahil din sa situation din natin ng nagsimula ‘yung pandemya, siguro doon ko natutunan ‘yung mga bagay na hindi na dapat ginagawa and the things to prioritize kasi we’re getting older na rin. So somehow, we have to change our perspective as a human being and for myself na rin siguro. And continue to love my craft.”
Apart from Villaflor, Nightbird stars Christine Bermas, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Sid Lucero, and Felix Roco. Under the direction of Law Fajardo, the Viva revenge-action film streams on Vivamax starting January 13.
