Things are still going bad or worse for Alex Gonzaga as the TV host allegedly loses projects following her viral cake-smearing incident.
On January 16, Gonzaga was heavily criticized online after she smeared a cake on a waiter during her 35th birthday celebration. Netizens claimed that her act was rude even though she did not mean any harm.
The TV host-vlogger had a birthday “bash” as netizens and even her co-workers and fellow celebrities deemed her act as rude.
In Cristy Fermin’s YouTube show Showbiz Now Na! on January 23, she talked about the rumors that Gonzaga is not receiving any major project following her recent controversy.
Fermin explained that products and advertising companies often look at the image of the artist they are trying to recruit. Since Gonzaga was recently involved in a controversy–her image is smeared.
The showbiz columnist said, Gonzaga should learn from this incident and be more respectful to others.
Meanwhile, Alex Gonzaga apologized publicly and said that she would become a better person.
Even the waiter to whom Gonzaga smeared her birthday cake icing on has released a written statement that he and the TV host-vlogger already talked in person.
