On January 23, Indie artist-musician Abby Clutario addressed the possibility of taking on acting roles.
At a media conference covered by LionhearTV, Clutario explained that she was interested in appearing on TV when she was younger.
She then clarified that she’s not closing any doors to opportunities since she’s under AltG Records, a GMA Music sub-label.
“I mean it’s not a closed door for me, pero siguro sa edad ko siguro hindi na, joke lang. Pero why not, sa pag-arte, siguro model na lang no? Let’s see, abangan natin ‘yang susunod na kabanata ng life ni Abby Clutario.”
As for working with other GMA artists, she expressed her intent to collaborate with other Kapuso talents. She said, “…I haven’t chanced upon any sikat na artist na makasama, so any chance na I can get, kung sino man sa kanila, go-game ‘yan…I’m pretty sure they’ll come up with something and I’ll come up with something. So pag-pray din natin ‘yan.”
As for her music career, Clutario signed her contract with AltG Records, a sub-label of GMA Music, in November 2022.
She also had the chance to do a cover of Up Dharma Down’s song, Tadhana, under AltG, which is available on music streaming platforms such as Spotify.
