On December 2, comedienne-host Tuesday Vargas alluded to a love team who allegedly snubbed her at an event she was hosting.
According to reports, the love team Vargas was referring to was KDLex (KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad.)
Vargas claimed that their road manager contacted her, apologizing for what happened and clarifying that their artists were in a rush to get to another event.
However, a recent article recounted Vargas’ alleged offense of snubbing reporters when she was first starting out in show business.
According to the article, Vargas was part of the cast of the 2004 Seiko Films movie Liberated 2, which starred Diana Zubiri and Francine Prieto.
At the time, Vargas was a member of the supporting cast. During the event, entertainment writers wanted to give her a chance to shine, and the comedienne-host engaged with the reporters enthusiastically.
However, two days later, when they passed each other, Vargas allegedly ignored the entertainment reporters who greeted her
This incident created a long-lasting dent in Vargas’ relationship with some press and entertainment writers.
In a Twitter post, Vargas admitted to her mistakes when she was younger, citing how much she had learned from her experience.
Pero I have been through a lot as well in my 20 years in showbiz kaya ako nagpapangaral sa mga bata. Ako mismo received a lot of criticism on my behavior in the past and when people keep me in check, it is an opportunity to become better. Focus tayo sa bagay na makaka buti
