Autism Society Philippines Antipolo, Launched an Art Exhibit entitled “Artismo Repeat” to advocate more about autism.
Autism Society Philippines Antipolo is an organization made up of parents who advocate understanding, compassion, and acceptance for persons with Autism in the community.
Developing an “Autism OK Antipolo” for kids is one of the organization’s objectives. An individual with difficulties in their disabilities with social engagement with other people and the condition is lifelong. Additionally, the organization engages in events to allow kids to interact with others, which will help them grow and develop while also enhancing their skill sets and allowing their parents to locate their kids’ interests.
On this matter, ASP hosted an art exhibition that was held on December 3, 2022, and will be held on display until January 2022, with a total of 13 ASP Antipolo Young artist participants.
The art exhibit, “Artismo Repeat,” features young Antipolo artists’ artworks. Its goal is to create Awareness, Accommodation, Appreciation, and Understanding of Autism. It is also to educate parents about what their kids are capable of in terms of empowering kids with autism so they can be contributing members and showcase the skills they have. With this exhibition, the artists will receive the proceeds of the sale to fund their therapy essentials.
