GMA Network’s reality game show Running Man Philippines made a successful run in the ratings, finishing strong at the finish line.
Running Man PH won the season finale on Saturday, December 17, and Sunday, December 18.
Based on Nielsen NUTAM People’s Ratings, Running Man PH on December 17 registered a rating of 11.9%, beating rival program Everybody Sing, which scored a 4.1% rating.
On the following day, Sunday, December 18, the Kapuso reality game show was again triumphant against its competitor, with 11.3% vs. 4.0%.
However, while Running Man PH ended up winning against its competitor, its finale ratings were down from its previous week’s ratings.
On December 10, the game show scored 12.6%, 0.7% higher week over week. Same as its December 11 rating of 13.3%, which was 2% higher week over week.
But nonetheless, Running Man PH still managed to consistently rate in the double digits since its pilot on September 3 and 4. There, it registered 14.1% and 14.4% ratings, respectively.
The Filipino adaptation of the hit Korean game show also consistently placed in the number two spot on the overall Sunday rating chart. This was followed by occasional placement in the number one spot on the overall Saturday rating leaderboard.
Meanwhile, Kapuso star Angel Guardian was proclaimed the Ultimate Runner after beating Lexi Gonzales in their final battle.
