At the digital conference for Panibugho, which LionhearTV covered on December 15, Viva artists Angela Morena, Stephanie Raz, and Micaella Raz revealed what it was like being sisters while working on their Vivamax film.
In ‘Panibugho’, Angela recalled one of their most intense scenes, “Kasi ako ‘yung grabe eh. Grabe ‘yung mga sinabi ko at ginawa ko sa kanila. Talagang nagulat sila. Nagtampo ba kayo?”
Stephanie said she was shocked by the intensity of Angela’s acting. She shared, “Ako gulat lang, sabi ko, ‘Shet, sinabi niya ‘yun?’ So sa parang sa akin lahat ‘yung masasakit na salita. Pero nagulat lang ako, hindi naman nagtampo kasi hinug niya naman ako after.”
Micaella noted that she’s the peacemaker among the real-life sisters. She revealed, “Sa akin wala naman eh, kasi mabait naman ako, di ba? Ako ‘yung peace maker.”
Actor, Kiko Estrada acknowledged the commitment of the sisters in portraying the role. He shared, “Actually, habang nag-aaway silang lahat, as in ‘yung tatlo, nandoon lang ako sa gitna habang, ‘Ah, okay.’ Grabeng intense noon, pero magaling.”
Every scene is accompanied by a food trip, according to Angela. She narrated, “Wala po, wala naman po nagkaroon ng tampuhan kasi kapag pag-uwi namin, food trip kami. Food trip kami, tapos kinukwento namin ‘yung mga eksena. So tumatawa lang kami.”
Angela said that they cope with misunderstandings by using silent treatment. In real life, the sisters have never had a significant rift, and they abhor harsh hurtful comments. Micaella recalled how the siblings immediately forgot about their disagreement.
Angela Morena, Stephanie Raz, and Micaella Raz star in ‘Panibugho’ with Kiko Estrada and Benz Sangalang.
Under the direction of Iar Arondaing, with Director Roman Perez Jr. as their Creative Producer, Vivamax’s 2023 opening film premieres via Vivamax Plus on January 2 and streams on Vivamax on January 6.
