During the JulieVerse concert at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Julie Anne San Jose also expressed her love for Rayver Cruz.
On November 26, during the twosome’s first major concert, San Jose and Cruz exchanged “I love yous.”
“Naalala mo nu’ng birthday mo, ‘di ba? Sinabi ko sa ‘yo kung anong nararamdaman ko, ‘di ba? ‘Yung nandito tayo sa Newport, sa concert. Gusto ko lang din iparinig sa kanila. Julie Anne San Jose, I love you. I love you so much,” Cruz said.
“Ray, ano ba ito?” San Jose inquired.
“Hindi. Gusto ko lang sabihin na sobrang grateful ako sa ‘yo, na dumating ka sa buhay ko. And ang dami nang nagbago sa buhay ko simula ng dumating ka. Kaya gusto kong sabihin… I love you, too,” San Jose said.
The audience went wild after hearing what San Jose had uttered. The two hugged each other on stage.
“Pinawisan ako,” San Jose exclaimed.
On January 19, San Jose got asked about the chance of her having a more-special-than-friendship relationship with Cruz in the future.
“Masaya naman maging masaya. Si Lord ang nakakaalam ng lahat. We’ll see.
“Best friends talaga kami niyan ever since. We’re very good friends for a very long time na. Isa talaga siya sa mga taong nakakaintindi sa akin.”
