ABS-CBN’s yearly Christmas special aired over the weekend. How did it fare in the rating game?
According to Nielsen NUTAM People’s rating, the two-part ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2022, aired on Saturday, December 17, and Sunday, December 18, registered an unexpectedly underwhelming rating.
Given the circumstances the Kapamilya network is currently facing, the Kapamilya Christmas Special has always been greeted with a warm reception from the viewers, except for this year’s broadcast.
The ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2022 registered a rating of 2.1% on Saturday, placing it 21st in the rating chart. Its pre-program, Everybody Sing, however, scored 4.1% and placed 11th on the leaderboard.
For its second part on Sunday, December 18, the star-studded Kapamilya Christmas Special even went down by 0.7% to 1.4%, settling at the number 24 spot in the rating board.
Everybody Sing, on the other hand, moved up one notch to the 9th position with a rating of 4%.
