Senior showbiz columnist and TV host Cristy Fermin joined the conversation about the controversial issue between Ms. Dina Bonnevie and Alex Gonzaga.
On her YouTube video Dila ni Alex Gonzaga, Barubal! uploaded on December 18, Fermin shared her personal experience with Alex regarding her alleged “prima donna” attitude.
Gonzaga and Fermin were co-hosts on the defunct TV5 showbiz-oriented talk show Juicy in 2010.
According to Fermin, she also shared Bonnevie’s experience with Alex, wherein the latter would come in late to the set of their show.
Fermin said Gonzaga would always reason out that she’s caught-up with other commitments, but the columnist argued that if she can’t handle simultaneous projects, she might as well let go of them.
The controversy surrounding Bonnevie and Gonzaga came to light again after the latter’s podcast, where she shared being traumatized by a “veteran actress” who lashed out at her on the set of their show.
“So there was a time, when I was in early 20s, mag-21 ako, I was so traumatized, pinagsisigawan ako ng isang artistang matanda… pinagsisigawan niya talaga ako from head to foot, everything, kasi akala niya galing ako sa bahay late lang ako, hindi niya alam na galing ako sa work kasi siguro hindi sinabi sa kaniya.
“And then after how many years, she’s painting me as the bad guy, na deserve ko. May mga tao na who did you wrong, or who traumatized you, and then you don’t even talk about it, parang you would just let it be, and then pag sila pa ang nagkuwento, sila pa yung mabait, ikaw pa yung masama, parang ibang-iba na yung kuwento.
“So naisip ko, anong kailangan kong gawin kapag ganoon? And then ang daming umaagree… wala… kasi alam ko naman yung katotohanan eh,” said Gonzaga.
Although Gonzaga did not name Bonnevie as the actress, Ms. D. previously shared an incident with what she called an unprofessional co-star who would come late and unprepared for their taping.
