“I am leaving ABS-CBN at the end of the year, after 23 years in this place I call home with people I call family.
“I am deeply grateful for your trust, support, and understanding through the good and bad, joy and heartache, success and failure.
“Change notwithstanding, these remain constant: I am a journalist for life and forever Kapamilya,” she stated.
Jumilla implied in her tweet that her leaving the Network means retirement.
p.s. To those asking, I’m not going anywhere. After 35 years in media, it’s time to be able to do mom things, wife things, home things, me things without having to worry about work things. ☺️

Thank you, everyone! I want to respond to all of you but Elon might think I’m spamming and kick me out of Twitter 😉. Leaving is always difficult no matter the reason or circumstance, but your appreciation and well-wishes make it a lot bearable. ❤️💚💙
