On December 4, Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo revealed that Dominic Roque told her that he’s not an artist anymore.
At a media conference for the Start-Up PH cast, which LionhearTV covered, Alonzo recounted her conversation with Roque about his career.
Kaya natuloy kaming maging kami.”
According to the actress, Roque told her exactly that he was no longer pursuing his acting career.
As for purchasing a home in Spain, Alonzo clarified why she acquired a property abroad. She explained, “… ang reason ko why I had to acquire a property there, is because of residency, kasi gusto kong makakuha ng residency. And eventually, sabi nga nila–because you [were] colonized by the Spaniards, I can apply for citizenship after two years, provided that I can speak fluent Spanish, kasi you can po sa Español.”
She, however, maintained that she plans on remaining a Filipino Citizen. She further clarified, “Pero, hindi ko pa po planong maging citizen, I still want to be a Filipino Citizen, but bakit ba ako kumuha ng Golden Visa, is because yung residency, is because their medical benefits, maganda ba. And also to explore, kasi matagal ko na po talagang pangarap ang magkaroon ng tirahan sa ibang bansa, especially sa Spain kasi talagang na-in love ako sa Spain.”
As for her series, Bea Alonzo stars in Start-Up PH with Alden Richards, Yasmien Kurdi, and Jeric Gonzales.
