On December 4, Kapuso actor Alden Richards disclosed details about his venture into being a producer.
At a media conference for the Start-Up PH cast, which LionhearTV covered, Richards talked about starting up his multimedia company Myriad Corporation.
Richards shared, “So after Start-Up, I also opened a production company, an entertainment company–which is Myriad Corporation, so nagve-venture na po ako ngayon into producing content for entertainment.”
He also listed his company’s upcoming projects, such as an E-Sports tournament and producing an Eraserheads concert.
The actor/producer said, “May it be live concerts, [or] series, or movies, and of course, our first project po is an Eraser Heads concert, which is happening this December 22. and then in January, the group will also have a gaming tournament, [which is] the Myriad E-Sports Cup. So that’s also happening next year.”
He also cited how his role in the Kapuso series connected to his business venture.
Richards shared, “…at the end of the day, narealize ko na isa ka sa mga magiging fuel para tumakbo ‘yung pangarap ng isang tao…kagaya ni Tristan, na while I’m doing the things I’m doing now, nandoon na ako sa point na ‘yun, na eventually, isa po ako sa mga nagiging instruments na nagbago ‘yung buhay ng tao, na natupad ‘yung pangarap niya sa buhay.”
Richards then affirmed that management had been taking their time picking the right project for him.
