During the grand reveal event for the GSM Blue 2023 Calendar Girl at the Makati Diamond Residences on November 8, actress-host Yassi Pressman addressed persistent rumors about her and Coco Martin.
Pressman said she is happy for Martin, citing that she is in a happy place right now.
“I really have nothing to say about that din po– I think we were very open and honest din naman before. Lagi po ninyo tinatanong yan sa amin, wala po talaga. Kaya, I’m just very, very happy. I’m very happy for him, I respect and value him– and all he’s taught me, and I want to be– happy– and be happy wherever the heart brings you.”
Pressman worked with Coco Martin in the Kapamilya action-teleserye FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano in 2016, wherein she portrayed the role of Martin’s significant other, Alyana for almost five years, and exited the Kapamilya action-drama series in 2021.
She then worked on her most recent TV project, the TV5 game show Rolling In It Philippines.
As for her GSM Blue Calendar Girl stint, Pressman posted a 30-second clip showing a sneak peek of her photoshoot for the GSM Blue 2023 Calendar.
She highlighted how it was working with the brand and how GSM Blue respected her boundaries during their photoshoot.
“There were some, it always comes with some restrictions to be honest. Pero, at the end of the day, the brand respects me and I respect the brand, and kapag ganon ‘yung communication nagiging maayos po lahat.
“Of course, one-hundred percent, mga scenes, you know again, I stand by the things that I stand by, my values, and there are always going to be limitations for me, working with me, pero all of this could be talked about naman. Maliwanag naman po ako from the very beginning, so wala ng gulatan.”
Pressman is among the female stars who got chosen to be part of GSM Calendar Girl along with Pia Wurtzbach, Ellen Adarna, Kim Domingo, Sanya Lopez, Christelle Abello, and Chie Filomeno as their Calendar Girls in the previous years.
Pressman’s other popular projects are More Than Blue, Camp Sawi, and Diary ng Panget.Â
