Kapuso Network’s latest sci-fi thriller, Unica Hija, started off as a runaway winner in TV ratings.
On Monday, November 7, Unica Hija aired its pilot episode, and according to Nielsen NUTAM People’s Survey ratings, the series outperformed its competitors.
Unica Hija received a rating of 7.2%, far outperforming its competitors Bagani (0.6%), and Be My Lady (0.6%).
@GMADrama quickly shared the good news on Twitter and thanked all Kapuso viewers for their overwhelming support of Unica Hija’s premiere.
It wrote, “Maraming salamat sa inyong pagtutok sa world premiere ng #UnicaHija, mga Kapuso! Simula pa lang ‘yan, marami pang dapat abangan!”

Aside from good TV ratings, the series was also warmly welcomed by Kapuso netizens.
The series’ lead stars, Kate Valdez and Kych Minemoto trended on Twitter, with the majority of the netizens praising them for their good performances.
