ABS-CBN Entertainment’s newest action-thriller series, The Iron Heart, is proving to be a great competitor to GMA Network’s Start-Up PH.
The latest rating reports from Nielsen NUTAM People Survey showed the new Kapamilya primetime teleserye is closing in on Start-Up PH, threatening its leaderboard ranking.
On Thursday, November 17, The Iron Heart recorded a 5.8% rating, 2.7% short of Start-Uh PH‘s 8.5%.
The Richard Gutierrez-starrer series also moved up the leaderboard from number 10 to number 9, just five positions below Start-Up PH‘s number four spot.
Earlier, The Iron Heart had a much closer gap with Start-Up PH after it registered a rating of 5.2%, just a 2.5% margin against Start-Up PH’s 7.7% on Tuesday, November 15.
The ranking between the two series is also closer, with The Iron Heart claiming the number 10 spot, and Start-Up PH landing in the number 6 position.
With the exit of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano from primetime programming a couple of months ago, televiewers may have missed the usual action-packed nights that they used to enjoy.
And with The Iron Heart‘s strong performance in the rating game, it could be a great signal that Kapamilya primetime block is out to give its rival programs stiff competition.
