During a media conference on November 7, the Korean boy group TFN, which stands for Try for New, discussed the experience of being a KPOP idol.
“Despite all of the hardships of the busy schedules, traveling, and practicing, we’re very thankful for all the love and opportunity to have fans like Edelweiss (fan club name). And the opportunity to show our skills and passion in music to the worldwide fans,” said member On.
The group’s main vocalist, Kevin, shared that when they are facing challenges, they just try to learn from each other to survive them.
He said, “We learn from each other. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. Despite being a group of individuals, our strengths are learning from each other.”
TFN’s leader Noa stated that they have yet to show all sides of their group to the fans and that they want to showcase more of their amusing image.
“I believe the fans don’t know yet about the funny side of our group. Hopefully, in the future we will be able to show more of our fun side to our fans,” said Noa.
The boy act also revealed that most of them had different dreams before they ended up as K-pop idols.
They also shared their musical influences or idols in the music industry, which include EXO, Seventeen, Stray Kidz, 2 PM, Big Bang, and Chris Brown.
TFN is under the agency MLD Entertainment, which popularized Momoland and Lapillus.
The boy group is expected to perform on November 12 in Trinoma and November 13 in Glorietta.
