The talented actress will star in a ‘special’ role in the upcoming Richard Gutierrez-top-billed action-drama series.
The anticipation by fans for Maja Salvador’s return to ABS-CBN was evident during the media launch of the upcoming Kapamilya series, The Iron Heart, yesterday, November 5. Fans expressed their excitement online as the award-winning actress set foot on ABS-CBN a few years after leaving the Network.
Salvador is notably one of the homegrown Kapamilya stars who sought work in other TV networks following ABS-CBN’s forced shutdown in 2020. The Iron Heart marks the first time she is acting again in a Kapamilya-produced series.
Salvador first stirred the anticipation of her fans and Kapamilya netizens when she posted on Twitter–her OOTD for the media launch, which she captioned “Hello, Kapamilya.”
Fans sent congratulatory and welcome messages, which made her name shoot up to the local top trending topics.

During the press conference, the actress beamed with pride and excitement when she shared how much she looked forward to appear in a Kapamilya project. She expressed her gratitude to ABS-CBN for welcoming her back and giving her a role which she described as “very important.”
“Thank you, Richard, Star Creatives…and of course, ABS-CBN, para I-consider ako sa napakagandang role na ito. Hindi siya bago sa akin, pero sobrang importante niya, kasi it’s ABS-CBN.
“(Thanks ABS-CBN for even considering me to play this very beautiful role. It’s not new for me, I must say, but it is a very important, because it is ABS-CBN),” she shared.
She underscored ABS-CBN’s track record in producing the best dramas.
“Ang ABS-CBN ay ang ganda gumawa ng isang teleserye.
“(ABS-CBN does TV series beautifully),” she added.
Salvador’s last TV series with ABS-CBN was the romantic thriller, The Killer Bride. Before that, she got catapulted to phenomenal fame via the wildly popular pre-primetime revenge drama Wild Flower (now streaming on Netflix).
The Iron Heart debuts on ABS-CBN platforms on November 14, replacing the KathNiel-series, 2 Good 2 Be True, in its 8:45 PM timeslot.
