Both Kapuso afternoon drama Return to Paradise and Kapamilya primetime series A Family Affair, ended well but on opposite paths.
On Friday, November 4, the GMA Network afternoon series Return to Paradise had its finale episode after three months on the air. Based on the latest rating report from NUTAM People’s Survey, the Derrick Monasterio-Elle Villanueva-led series registered good finale ratings, scoring 8.4% and taking the number 6 spot on the rating chart.
However, it went downtrend compared to its previous day’s result.
On Thursday, November 3, the series ranked fifth on the rating board with a rating of 8.9%. For its finale week, the series made a static rating trend starting from 8.9% on Monday, October 31 to 8.0% on Tuesday, November 1, and 8.8% on Wednesday, November 2.
Meanwhile, Kapamilya primetime drama series A Family Affair also ended on a high note. Unlike Return to Paradise, the Ivana Alawi- starrer series finished its run on an upward trend.

The series finale episode on Friday, November 4, scored 3.7% and ranked number 14 on the rating chart. It had a 1.4% rating increase and six notches up from its previous day’s rating of 2.3% and 20th ranking on Thursday, November 3.
Its finale week, however, was also marked by a static rating trend. It started from 2.6% on Monday, October 31, down to 2.5% on Tuesday, November 1, and up again to 2.8% on Wednesday, November 3.
