The Idol Philippines season 2-second placer admitted that his past rejections almost made him quit pursuing a career in singing.
Idol Philippines Season 2 1st runner-up, Bryan Chong, had a teary-eyed moment on ‘Magandang Buhay’, last November 2. The young singer was among the show’s alumni, who got invited to the show to share their post-competition journey.
Chong took his time to remember his struggles, and how his failures and the rejections he received, almost made him quit singing.
He then noted how his ‘Idol Philippines Season 2’ stint enlightened him about his past rejections; he finally understood.
Chong is a seasoned “kontesero,” having previously competed in national television singing competitions such as The ABS-CBN’s Voice Teens and GMA Network’s The Clash.
He recently joined ASAP Natin To’s stable of performers, allowing him to realize a childhood dream of sharing the stage with his local music idols and industry legends.
