On November 3, new Viva artist Bea Binene said she felt blessed to land a project after transferring to Viva.
At the cast reveal for the upcoming series, The Rain in España, Binene expressed gratitude to Viva for her role in the series.
“Unang-una sobrang nagpapasalamat po ako, sobra. I feel very blessed because this is my first project with Viva since I transferred po. And nakaka-taba po ng puso ‘yung tiwala na binibigay sa akin para po maging parte ng isang proyektong napakalaki po tulad nito.”
She also recounted how she got the offer for her role in the series.
“Ako po, I just feel very blessed, because ako po, again I just signed with Viva and few weeks after they called me for a script reading. Di ba Direk? And then after noon, parang a few days after, nag-send na sila ng schedule. Parang, ‘ay talaga, agad-agad? Nakakatuwa naman, talagang sobrang blessing po talaga.’ So sobrang na-excite po ako.”
She admitted that she’s still getting used to working with an entirely new cast but still considers it a-breath-of-fresh air.
“At the same time parang medyo nangangapa–nakakapanibago, kasi after eighteen years, ngayon lang po ako nakapagtrabaho ng mga bagong faces, ngayon lang po kami magkakatrabaho ni Direk, ni Heaven, and the cast, and even the staff and the whole team, nakakapanibago po.
“Pero, at the same time, para po siyang breathe of fresh air. Nakaka-excite po, and I’m really looking forward po na mag-start po kami.”
She also confessed feeling the pressure with the adaptation of The Rain in España.
“‘Yung pressure and ‘yung nervousness is always there because, number /one, for me, this is my first project outside of my network before. And pangalawa, we all know how much love and support ‘The Rain in España’ and the whole university series received online.”
However, she assured fans of the series that the cast would do justice to their adaptation.
“So siyempre, ‘yung pressure po nandoon, that /we really have to do a good job. And we have to really give justice to the role because a lot of people are really looking forward for this.”
