Dingdong Dantes recounted the viral moments in Family Feud Philippines during his contract renewal with Mesa, which LionhearTV covered on October 26.
The Kapuso star admitted that it was difficult not to react to the viral moments in ‘Family Feud’ Philippines.
He shared, “Mahirap pigilin kapag may mga sagot na medyo nakakatawa. Pero kailangan ko talaga mag-focus kasi siyempre manalo sila. Otherwise, baka ma-distract sila sa tawa ko. So ayaw ko naman mangyari ‘yun.”
He cited how much he enjoyed the unexpected opportunity of hosting a game show. He narrated, “… isa ‘to sa mga nangyari sa career ko na ikinagulat ko, kasi never ko naman na-imagine ‘yung sarili ko na nagho-host ng isang game show, although dati, pumalit ako kay Richard Gomez for a while, pero sandali lang ‘yung.”
The host explained that he thought his hosting career was over. Additionally, he expressed his happiness over the show’s 2023 extension.
He exclaimed, “…I’m happy to say that we [got] extended until next year, so every day I meet eight different people—karamihan kilala ko na, marami akong nakikilala ulit. All from the industry– from the Tiktok world, from YouTube, from doctors to soldiers, lahat ng all walks of life.”
He reacted to the success of their show, reiterating how he considers the opportunity of meeting new people every episode as a privilege.
Aside from hosting the Kapuso Game Show ‘Family Feud’, Dantes also recently renewed his endorsement with the classic Filipino food restaurant Mesa.
