Drugs and other vices have ruined the life of the stand-up comedian and former Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown castaway Pretty Trizsa.

Pretty Trizsa used to mimic Mariel Rodriguez.

On October 17, via Ogie Diaz’s YouTube vlog, Trizsa (Ronaldo Celso in real life) recalled how he got hooked on drugs.

Tapos after nung droga, naging mas malala pa, sugal. Tapos may depression, anxiety problems.

So, subconsciously nag-resort ako sa drugs,” he shared.

Diaz asked how he got into drugs. He mentioned and suspected that at the height of his success, his mind was idle. His mind was the perfect example of ‘an idle mind is a devil’s playground.’

Celso also revealed the effects of drugs on his body, saying it gives him energy.

“Parang there is emptiness sa akin na parang wala ‘kong magawa.

“So mataas pa ‘yung energy level namin nun. Kasi ang gising namin alas singko. Kaya ang gagawin ko mado-droga ako after set, Gising ako nun hanggang alas nuwebe, alas diyes. Aantukin ako one o’clock, e, may set.

He confessed that it was also due to drugs that made him lose his job as a performer in comedy bars.

Celso also recalled the time when he became homeless, saying he slept on the streets.

May CCTV, ganyan.

He underwent rehab three times, and his family had to disown or teach him a lesson. They left him on his own.

It was on his third that he realized, “Hindi pala ganun. Parang tough love.”

A certain discovered him and his worrisome predicament. It was then that his relatives got alarmed and united. They sent Celso [again] to rehab, and he stayed there for two years and three months.

During his 14 days in isolation, because it was still the height of the pandemic, he asked himself what was lacking in him. What made him realize the reason why he’s in rehab was that he didn’t love himself.

Today, he is happy. When Diaz asked about the ‘sorry’ part of his life, Celso responded quickly, “Wala. Masaya na ako ngayon.”

He wept due to gratitude toward Diaz, who gave him a chance again.

He’s in pink could syndrome. He’s excited about his comeback in showbiz.
