Veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis opened up on the issue that she was not invited to Bea Alonzo’s press conference back in March 2022.
Solis expressed her dismay toward Alonzo after she was allegedly prevented from attending a beauty brand presser that the former Kapamilya-now-a-Kapuso actress was endorsing.
Solis assumed that it was Alonzo who did not want her to attend the event.
However, in an interview on PEP on October 12, Shirley Kuan, Alonzo’s manager, admitted that she was the one who ordered the removal of Solis’s name from the list of press invites.
In Solis’s Instagram post on October 12, the showbiz columnist said that she holds no grudges toward Shirley Kuan.

She then expressed her admiration for Shirley Kuan as a talent manager.
“Saka siyempre, mas mahusay siyang manager dahil lahat hawak niya superstar, eh ako mga so so stars lang, charot!
On the other hand, in an interview with Alonzo on October 6, she revealed that she did not respond to Solis’s criticisms toward her because the showbiz columnist is sick.
“I will never reply because hindi ko naman nababasa what she writes about me. People just tell me about it. But I respect her so much. Although we’ve never met, we’ve never been introduced to or spoken to each other,” she said.
She [Alonzo] then said that Solis still has her respect despite the negative things she said to her and she prays for the columnist’s healing.
