At the media conference for Sam Concepcion’s contract renewal with Viva Artist Agency, which LionhearTV covered on October 25, he discussed the possibility of him taking on sexy roles.
Concepcion said he’s open to the possibility of doing sexy roles, depending on the material.
“I’m not completely closed off to that idea. If it is done good; if it’s tastefully /done/; if it’s a great material. You know, I’m still am an actor, and I’m willing to act.”
He then listed the type of projects he wanted to work on with his contract renewal.
“For sure, concerts, and movies, when it comes to movies, hindi ko alam kung ano ‘yung temperature ng movies ngayon, kung bumabalik na ba tayo ngayon sa you know, regular theater. But yeah, I like what I used to do with ‘yung mga una kong ginawa dito sa Viva. Like good dramas, Para sa Broken Hearted, we did a dance flick, which was interesting. And ‘yun, maybe action–maybe.”
He cited that he still has several projects he wants to do as an artist, such as more concerts and movies.
“Siyempre, in all of those things, gusto ko pa rin gawin ay ‘yung more concerts–when it comes to concerts and music. So doon po sa part na ‘yun, marami pa po akong gustong gawin. Movies din, I think I’ve yet to really take on roles that are bigger.”
Concepcion joined Viva Artist Agency in 2017 and worked on projects such as Joseph the Dreamer, Indak, and Para sa Broken Hearted.
He also released songs such as Diwata and Ikaw Ang while under VAA. As for concert events, he performed with Billy Crawford and James Reid at The Crew concert event.
