On October 13, Viva artists Rhen Escaño and Ayanna Misola recounted their experience working with Arron Villaflor.
At the media conference for Secrets of Nympho, to which LionhearTV got invited, Escaño cited her work experience with Villaflor in the Kapamilya action series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
“Ako po hindi po kasi first time na nagka-work kami ni Arron. Second time, actually, sa Probinsyano. Nagpang-abot kami pero hindi kami super matagal na nagka-work doon pero at least nagpang-abot kami kaya naramdaman ko naman na comfortable ako sa kaniya noong nakasama ko siya dito.”
As for their scenes in the eight-part series, she highlighted how Villaflor helped her out with their intimate scenes.
“And may mga eksena kami together na medyo intimate, ganyan, and kailangan talaga ng connections. And may mga mabibigat din na eksena na kailangan talaga naming maramdaman ‘yung isa’t isa.
“So ako, thankful ako na pareho kami. Inalalayan namin ‘yung isa’t isa para ma-pull-off ‘yung eksena kasi ‘yung mga eksena kasi namin importante siya kung paano maintindihan ng mga tao kung bakit ko ginagawa, or ginagawa na character ko ‘yung mga pinaggagagawa niya or ‘yung mga pinaglalaban niya.”
She then affirmed that she felt happy working with the former Kapamilya actor again.
“So I guess, hopefully, na-pull-off naman namin and dahil talaga ‘yun sa nagtulungan talaga kami and dahil comfortable kami sa isa’t isa, and pareho kami ng pagpapahalaga sa trabaho namin, kaya nakakatuwa na nagka-work kami ulit.”
As for Misola, she echoed Escaño’s experience, hinting at her role in the Secrets of a Nympho.
“Sobrang okay po ka-work ni Arron, pero may connection naman na po kami kasi magkasama kami sa gym. Gym-mate ko siya, so tinutulungan niya ako sa mga scenes namin.
“Most naman na scenes namin dito parang ano lang, alam mo ‘yung campus crush, ‘yung parang silang dalawa ‘yung couple, ‘yung famous couple sa school, so puro ganon-ganon. Tapos ‘yung mabibigat na scenes, inaalalayan niya talaga.”
Villaflor shared the cast members’ off-screen bonding while they were filming the series.
“Just to share our experiences and our solid family while doing the series, sobrang parang totoo lang lahat ng tao. And we’re all blessed na nasa magandang team kami dahil na kila Direk Lino kami. So hindi kami pinabayaan ng team na ‘yun.
“We’re spoiled of non-stop coffee from Direk Lino. Sobrang natutuwa kami dahil alam mo ‘yun, lahat kami nagtratrabaho, napapagod tayong lahat, it’s just the way to energize the family inside the set. And we’re all blessed na naging professional lahat ng nakatrabaho namin dito.”
