On October 12, Drag Race Philippines Season One winner Precious Paula Nicole said she’s open to the possibility of competing in Drag Race All-Stars.
In an exclusive interview with the big winner, she recounted speculations on social media, citing the possibility of her joining the Drag Race All-Stars in the United States.
“Well, let me share this story before. After filming Drag Race, may nagpost kasi sa Facebook na lahat ng winners ng Drag Race, lahat ng franchise, oh my God kinikilabutan ako. Lahat ng per country nandoon. And sabi ko talaga sa sarili ko, parang ang saya lang na maisip and makita na isa ako doon sa makikita ko sa picture na ‘yun.”
She also emphasized how proud she felt of the possibility of representing the Philippines globally.
“So yeah, kung mabigyan man tayo ng chance and invitation na magcompete for another crown, because I would be happy to represent the Drag industry of the Philippines dahil alam naman nating dekalibre at hindi papatalo sa kahit anong laban. Kahit suntukan pa ‘yan. Ipapanalo ko ‘yan promise.
“Sana kung mabigyan man tayo ng opportunity ulit, why not. Then let’s do it.”
She then shared a piece of wisdom with aspiring queens who also want to enter the Drag Industry in the Philippines.
“Sa mga tao, sa mga batang queens ngayon, sa mga upcoming queens, always believe in your heart, kasi ‘yung heart mo ang magsasabi kung ito ba ang tama para sayo. And kapag nag-start ka na, always perform from the heart, kasi iba ang mensahe kapag nanggagaling sa puso.”
Precious showcased her true creativity, uniqueness, nerve, and talent throughout the competition, streamed through HBO GO and Discover Plus.
She competed alongside Marina Summers, Xilhouete, and Eva Le Queen for the finale of Drag Race Philippines. Each of them showcased two stunning runway looks during their final four competition.
The queens then battled it out on the stage with a lip-synch battle to determine the final two, which led to the face-off of Marina Summers and Precious Paula Nicole.
After her lip-synch battle with Summers through the tune of Gloc-9’s Sirena, Precious Paula Nicole snagged the crown for the Philippines’ First Drag Race Superstar. As part of her winnings, she went home with a one-year supply of ONE/SIZE beauty cosmetics by Patrick Starrr and 1,000,000 pesos powered by Kumu.
