With their PPOP success already under their belts, the five-member group shares what they look forward to exploring in business in addition to showbiz.
BGYO, a fast-rising P-POP quintet, decided that in order to secure their future, they must continue working hard and learning new things despite the fact that they have already begun to see the results of their two years of intensive training. Last 25th of October, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Jolina Magdangal-Escueta, and Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, the morning show’s hosts, asked the group what businesses outside showbiz they aspire to explore and succeed in.
“Ako po marami. Gusto ko pong pumasok sa food industry saka gusto ko rin po magkaroon ng resort at commercial building, someday, “ noted Akira, who shared that all of them actually frequently talked about it.
Gelo, who serves as the leader of the group similarly wishes to enter the food industry and added, “Gusto ko po magkaroon ng clothing line, restaurant, multi-purpose na studio, saka, why not parking?”
Nate noted his desire to follow in his granddad’s footsteps. “I wanna open a car shop because my lolo has had a car shop since 1983 po, “ he said.
“Ako naman po—Hindi ko po siya masyado iniisip but—fashion line, or anything fashion po (I am not really thinking about this too seriously, but I might go for anything fashion),” shared Mikki, who noted his passion for customizing his own fashion style, ever since he was a kid.
JL expressed his eagerness to open his own restaurant and shoe shop. “Gusto ko rin po magtayo ng sariling restaurant, at lalo na mahilig po ako sa mga sapatos…as in sobra po.”
During their guesting on the show, the boys also expressed their gratitude to ABS-CBN for frequently tapping them to record the official theme songs of some of Kapamilya’s shows. The group notably sang the original soundtracks for the first and second seasons of He’s Into Her, the web series, Bola-Bola, and the currently airing superheroine series, Darna.
The group recently released their comeback single, Magnet, which is the lead track of their new studio album BE: US, set to be released on November 3.
