Kapuso actress Aiko Melendez maintained her stance of not being mindful of sharing the lead role with Beauty Gonzalez.
At the media conference for Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters, including LionhearTV, Melendez highlighted how much she wants to work with Gonzalez in the latest season of Mano Po Legacy.
“Ay no, not at all, not at all.Â
“Sa akin kasi, dumaan din naman ako sa pagiging newcomer, and then sa akin, it doesn’t matter to me kung equal billing kami lahat. I’ve always said this in my interviews na I’ve always wanted to work with Beauty kasi nga ang sarap na magkatapat ‘yung show namin dati na Primadonnas, tapos ngayon kami na ang magkatapat ngayon.”
She also noted how they clicked while working together in the series.
“Noong first day pa lang nag-taping kami tama nga, nag-click nga kami dahil pareho nga kaming lukaret.”
She then detailed their bonding moments on the set of their Kapuso series.
