The action-packed finale week featured Lolong and the Atubaws fight against Governor Armando and his goons.
In one of the episodes, Madam Karina (played by Rochelle Pangilinan) was killed by Donatella (Jean Garcia) to be able to capture Ines and Dakila.
Governor Armando, meanwhile, was released by the police from jail and brought to their hideout, where Dakila was held captive. Armando then took Dakila’s blood and transfused it to make him an Atubaw.
Lolong came back to his family, who thought he was already dead.
While Lolong is currently on its Season 1 finale week, its Season 2 is already underway.
According to LionhearTV’s interview with Lolong’s executive producer Mark Anthony Norella, they are already preparing for the 2nd season of Lolong.
“So actually to be honest ang alam lang ding ng mga cast is naghahanda. Totoo namang naghahanda ang production team, ang creative team po ng Lolong para sa season 2. Wala pa silang kaalam-alam sa tatakbuhin ng kwento, hindi pa namin po binabagsak sa kanila.
“As much as we want na i-extend talaga, cut po talaga ang season 1 ng Lolong. And gusto rin namin syang paghandaaan at the same time dahil mabibigat po yung graphics…sobrang laki ng requirements nung graphics. So mahirap ngang i-extend, cut lang talaga sya and maghahanda tayo para dun sa bagong laban sa Season 2.”
Lolong’s season 1 runs from July 2022-September 2022.
