Running Man Philippines’ ratings keep racing high and one of its leading cast members Kokoy de Santos, shared that he’s eternally grateful to be part of the reality show.
“Sobrang saya sa feeling na part ako non. For sure, ‘yung buong prod happy at sa wakas nasshare na namin ‘yung pinaghirapan namin.” de Santos expressed.
On September 18, the reality show had its highest rating since its premiere, and earned a 15.5 percent TV rating.
De Santos also said, “Ilang buwan rin kami sa Korea at hindi biro ‘yung pinagdaanan namin. Hindi lang kaming mga artista, pati ‘yung mga prod. So congrats to us.”
Running Man PH is based on the most popular South Korean television variety of the same name.
The said local reality show is a co-production between GMA-7 and Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS).
Aside from de Santos, the show stars Philippines’ all-rounder entertainers Mikael Daez, Glaiza de Castro, Lexi Gonzales, Buboy Villar, Angel Guardian, and Ruru Madrid.
Its pilot episode aired on September 3, and the fever lingers.
Viewers can catch Running Man PH on GMA Weekend Primetime every Saturday at 7:15 p.m. and Sunday at 7:50 p.m. on GMA-7. It is also available abroad on GMA Pinoy TV.
