Kim Atienza told LionHearTV at the presser of Dapat Alam Mo! on October 17, that aside from their success on Free TV, they also had topics that trended on Facebook. He added that he was grateful to the audience for the positive reception of their content.
Atienza, alongside his co-hosts Patricia Tumulak and Emil Sumangil, attributed their success to the concept of interactive content delivery. Although the delivery is meant to be light-hearted, their content is still serious and truthful.
Atienza said that the show was not about the hosts, but about the quality of their content and how it was delivered. He also admitted that the show being content-driven was inspired by the success of Eat Bulaga’s Tito, Vic, and Joey.
“It’s not about us, we can be replaced anytime, but content is king – people watch this show because of the content, and the way it’s delivered,” he said.
Tumulak shared that she always has fun while doing their episodes. She explained how she felt too natural in interacting with the camera.
“Ang maganda sa ’min ay interactive, [at] relatable – kaya masaya, para lang akong nakikipagkwentuhan sa kausap ko sa camera … maraming natututunan [and] at the same time walang fake news,” Tumulak further made emphasis about their program.
The trio of Dapat Alam Mo! emphasized many times their commitment to the show’s interactive delivery without sacrificing the integrity of their content.
